Research Associate

Dr Radhakrishnan Cheran is a Research Associate currently working as a data analyst and supporting manuscript development. He earned his PhD in Environmental Science from the Agharkar Research Institute, Pune, where his research focused on using diatoms as bioindicators to evaluate ecological conditions in sensitive regions such as the Eastern Himalayas and the Western Ghats.

Dr. Radhakrishnan has independently led several research projects, managing all aspects from field surveys and laboratory work to statistical analysis and report writing. He is proficient in R Studio, PAST, and Canoco for ecological and ordination analyses, and skilled in QGIS for geospatial mapping. He also creates scientific visuals and figure plates using Inkscape and GIMP, combining analytical expertise with strong data visualization skills to support ecological research and conservation initiatives.
