Dr. Vaibhav Jumale is a forestry scientist and research professional at WRCS, bringing deep technical expertise and hands-on experience from his prior role at JK Papers Pvt. Ltd., where he led R&D in plantation management, nursery operations, and silviculture. He holds a PhD in Forestry (Silviculture) and an M.Sc. in Forestry, with additional certifications in carbon accounting and carbon credit methodologies. Vaibhav’s work integrates rigorous experimental design, field-based monitoring, and development of fertilizer and plantation treatment protocols, supported by strong data-analysis skills. Known for meticulous field planning and clear technical communication, he advances climate-smart forestry and biodiversity-friendly plantation practices. At WRCS he focuses on translating research into scalable, sustainable interventions that improve forest productivity, ecosystem health, and carbon outcomes. His interdisciplinary approach bridges operational forestry and carbon science, enabling evidence-based strategies for enhanced ecosystem services, adaptive management, and measurable contributions to climate mitigation and biodiversity conservation.
