Job Profile
➢ Managing WRCS Website. It will involve regular updates on website including information on events, project updates, opportunities, media, and maintaining on WRCS online shop.
➢ Managing WRCS social media : Creative updates with reels and posts on WRCS handicraft products, events, programs. Keeping WRCS page active on Instagram, Facebook and other Social Media Platforms.
➢ Managing WRCS Handicraft shop: Preparing and maintaining the inventory of handicraft products, maintaining information on online products, preparing designs, preparing stencils, purchasing material for handicraft, and training of women in our handicraft program. The communication manager will be required to boost sales of the products by online advertisement, making reels, short films, interesting write ups, attending workshops and participating in exhibitions and conference for putting up stalls for promoting WRCS handicraft sale.
➢ Preparation of Project Reports: The Communication manager will help in preparing progress reports and annual reports for various donor agencies.
➢ Preparation of Communication Material: Designing and preparing signages, posters, standees as per the requirements.
➢ Extension and Awareness Programs : The Communication Manager will be required to deliver talks on awareness programs for schools and companies as required. The Communication manager will be required to help in office administration as required.

Who Should Apply
For this position, we are looking for a young graduate or a post-graduate in any subject with excellent command on English Language with a a flair for creativity in writing, designing and media management. The person should have good understanding of ecological science for contributing to effective communication on WRCS work . We are looking for an energetic, cheerful, honest and enthusiastic person who is creative, well-versed with social media for providing visibility to WRCS work, and can bring in novel ideas.

Remuneration
Remuneration will be commensurate with experience of the applicant.

Other Details
The position will be based at our office on Sus road, Pashan, Pune. The communication officer will be required to work from the office daily. For this purpose, a Pune-based person who can travel to the office by her/his own vehicle daily will be suitable. However, candidates from outside Pune can also apply.
