Wildlife Research and Conservation Society

We are  looking for TWO interns/volunteers to assist us in data collection on our project on Bustards. The project will involve a lot of exploration and interaction with local communities. Field site will be Rollapadu Wildlife Sanctuary, Andhra Pradesh and area around it. The field work will be from 1st August, 2022 to 30th November, 2022.

This is an UNPAID position. The cost of Food and Accommodation will be covered by the project. Travel to field station might be covered based on the time commitment provided.

Requirements

• Minimum commitment of ONE month

• Interested in bird watching and food J

• Interest in conservation and bird watching

• Additional bonus, if they can speak Telugu

 

Role

• Awareness workshops in local villages

• Discussions on ways to aid in species recovery

• Informal discussions with local communities
